PPR FORM (TEST MODE NOT FOR USE UNTIL AUTHORISED)
PPR must be obtained via email info@oldsarumairfield.co.uk and by using the form below at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
At present, we cannot accept PPR via RT before entering the ATZ. Please read the joining and departure procedures below – you can also download these for printing out HERE
Joining
- On approach to Old Sarum and before entering the Boscombe Down MATZ call BD on frequency 126.700 to advise of intention to join OS circuit.
- The standard approach to OS will be via the Alderbury VRP reporting point as shown on aeronautical charts.
- On approaching Alderbury call Old Sarum Radio A/G on xxxx to advise intention to join circuit.
- OS will advise current airfield information and whether there are parachutes in the air. All circuits will be to the south i.e runway 06 right or 24 left. Overhead joins should be avoided.
- If parachutes are in the air a request will be made to hold until on ground.
- From Alderbury approach OS circuit (24 LH or 06 RH) at 800 ft to join base leg.
- Call A/G when established on base. Call finals. Park as advised by A/G once runway vacated
Departure
- Call A/G to advise intention to depart. A/G will advise runway in use and parachute activity. If advised parachutes in air hold position until all parachutes are on ground.
- When advised that all parachutes are on ground proceed to runway holdng point. Hold at runway holding point and advise when ready to depart.
- Departure on 24 will require a right hand turn to Alderbury to avoid Middle Wallop MATZ.
- Call Boscombe Down to advise en route to Alderbury to depart MATZ.
- Departure on 06 may be straight out departure west or left hand turn to Alderbury.
- Call BD to advise leaving MATZ.
Be advised no fuel is available at Old Sarum.
