Old Sarum Airfield reopening to PPR soon!
Plans are at an advanced stage to reopen the airfield to incoming aircraft with a timetable of 'open' days this summer. Details will be posted about these soon, here on the website.
To start with, there will be a limit to the maximum number of visitors we can accommodate each day ensuring we can manage the movements – and give visitors a positive experience – when they visit.
We will notify a monthly schedule of the days the airfield will be open to visiting aircraft permitting pre-booking through the website. The airfield will be open at times advised on each day that it is open.
Air to Ground radio will be available on xxx frequency and all visiting aircraft must call prior to entering the circuit.
Skydiving will be active on certain days and this will be advised via the air to ground radio.
The new PPR form will be online soon.
