Old Sarum Airfield is within easy reach of several nationally important attractions, country estates and fun days out.

 

The Beehive Park and Ride is 5-10 minutes walk from the Airfield. There are also a number of car hire companies in and around Old Sarum and Salisbury.

Figsbury Ring (National Trust) - Neolithic and Iron Age site rich in wildlife, offering sweeping views of surrounding countryside - taxi, 10 min.

Salisbury Cathedral -  Britain's tallest spire, one of the leading examples of Early English architecture, and home of the best preserved Magna Carta - taxi, 15 min.

The New Forest - Famous for its free-roaming ponies, cattle and deer, this is one of the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and forest in the south east of England - taxi, 20 min or more, depending on destination.

Wilton House - An English country house which has been the country seat of the Earls of Pembroke for over 400 years - taxi, 15 min.

Salisbury Racecourse - A flat racecourse featuring thoroughbred horse racing - taxi, 20 min.
